Are you in the Chicagoland area and looking for a fun Kosher BBQ related activity to enhance your event? We can help. A Kosher Chopped Grill Masters Competition is great for enhancing your family celebration, organizational event, or work team building activity.
How it Works
We provide everything you need, including all equipment, ingredients, and serveware.
Guests will be divided into teams and each team will have half an hour to make one dish. Teams will cook on a 22″ Weber charcoal grill using a basket of mandatory mystery ingredients and shared pantry of optional items. (All ingredients, utensils, and cooking tools provided are kosher.)
Once time is up, the teams will present their culinary creations to a panel of judges who will determine the best dish based on taste, presentation, and creative use of the mystery ingredients.

FAQs when hosting a Kosher Chopped Gill Masters Competition
Contract and Deposit
There is a 50% nonrefundable deposit due at the time of booking your event to secure a date. The balance is due the day of the event. For rates please reach out to info@kosherbbq.org.
What if it rains?
Please keep an eye on the weather forecast. If you need to reschedule due to weather we require at least 24 hours notice before the event. If you cancel due to rain at least 24 hours in advance we will work with you to find an alternate date.
What about food allergies?
If your guests have allergies please let us know at least a week prior to your event and we will accommodate.
How does judging work?
The judges are picked by the host in advance from the guests.
Do I need a kitchen to host this in?
No, we do this event completely outdoors. All you need is enough space to set up the event and tables for prep and judging.
How many people can play on a team?
We recommend 1-3 people per team and up to 3 teams.
What ages is Kosher Chopped Grill Master good for?
We recommend ages 12 and up. For children under 16 an adult will be require to also be on the team.
